Charity,
Here's a link to my flickr page where you can see these photos (and a few more). Good luck. I adore built-in beds - not only are they practical from a space-point-of-view, but they feel so cozy and womb-like. I'm building a Jefferson-style double bed in my daughter's house and turning her old room in my house into an office with a built-in daybed/bed. Good luck!

I am so happy to find these pic's!! I've been looking for a picture to describe what I want in my children's new room. We're moving into a 1930's farmhouse, and there is a space perfect for this type of bed. If you have any other recommended sites I would love to have some additional visuals. Thanks again for posting these pic's!

Thanks Josie, I'm glad you like my blog...
I always wanted an attic bedroom with a "nook-bed" to cuddle for days with a good book. That's what gave me the inspiration to write this post and share these beautiful beds. Personally, i love the first one on the right - i think it has amazing colors.
Cheers'

I love these! I have always loved older houses and it seems like they have so many more creative nooks and crannies like these. My aunt and uncle had a very nice older house in Tacoma WA and it had built in nook-beds in the attic bedroom that I always loved to play in when we visited. They make one feel so safe and almost coddled. I've been on here, reading and loving all your posts for hours now. What a wonderful blog!
