Aireys Inlet Modular House

This prefab, modular holiday home can be found in Aireys Inlet, nestled beside the Southern Ocean of Victoria on Australia’s world famous Great Ocean Road.

With a minimal impact on the natural surrounding of the site, this lightweight, prefabricated home sits above the ground among existing trees and vegetation. It features two linear adjacent modules, which are joined by a link that also serves as the main entry to the house.

One unit contains the children and guest bedrooms while the other contains the kitchen/dinning and living rooms as well as the master bedroom. Both units are oriented to maximize passive solar gain and natural ventilation through catching prevailing breezes.
