This piece of furniture should be placed in the center of a room, I mean look at it – it’s totally avant-garde! In my opinion, it would be a design crime to hide it against a wall, as it needs to be the center of attention and a conversation starter.
The Cup collection has loads of character. It looks a bit bizarre, almost a mixture between a sofa and a bench with a hint of fun and lightness. To me, its most interesting feature is its thin and slightly bent form – it looks like it’s going to collapse if you sit on it however, that’s not the case as it is quite strong and very comfortable.
Made of solid wood frame and composite foam, Cup is available in Kvadrat fabric: Tinta 3, Steelcut or Steelcut Trio
