Inspired by the traditional carpenter pencil, Pencil was designed for the precise digital artist. Designed for use with Paper, Fifty Three’s creative art iPad app, the Pencil is much more than a stylus for digital displays.
The Pencil is filled with advanced features that make it an impressive tool. With a “Palm Rejection” setting, Pencil will notice the difference between when your palm is touching the display and it will continue writing and drawing without being interrupted by your hand.
Just like an analog pencil, Pencil responds to erasing motions. The erase function will remove previous text and drawings with precision without you needing to change tools.
Pencil is not just amazing technology, though. It is made from sustainably harvested Walnut and it looks like a hand-hewn pencil. It is also available in a graphite finish.
While Pencil’s interesting features like palm rejection and erase will only work with the Paper application, it can be used as a general stylus for any touchscreen device.
