Kokopelli’s Cave

Located north of Farmington, New Mexico, the Kokopelli’s Cave Bed & Breakfast is truly an underground escape. Built by a consulting geologist, Bruce Black, this B&B started out as an office, only to be used as the Black family getaway and finally turned into a 1,650-square-foot luxurious bed & breakfast.

The cave is built into a 65-million-year-old sandstone formation nearly 70 feet, or seven stories, underground; with one bedroom, two balconies, a carpeted living area, a Jacuzzi tub and waterfall shower, the cave offers amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Imagine stepping out to the balcony to watch the sunset on the mountains or just breath in the cool air of dawn…
