I have always had a strong connection with the forest. Being surrounded by a vast canopy of trees and leaves allows me to contemplate and become totally calm. The Forest House, by Japanese architecture firm Tezuka Architect, reflects a shade of mystery as it floats in the forest and i simply love it.
This modern home design beautifully combines sharp, geometrical lines – vertical, horizontal and diagonal – throughout the house. Its roof is tilted to optimize views of the surrounding treetops.

With only 80.74 sq. meters, this beautiful home is quite a small house, however the use of the internal space as well as the tilted roof and large windows make it seem larger than it really is.

I also love this bathroom. Yes, it’s simple and compact, and yet maybe because of its simplicity its unique character comes to life.
