Atelier Food: the exploration of food

Here’s something a bit different – a new take on food, photography and design, that is both wonderful and refreshing. It was created by the Stockholm-based Art Director of PJADAD, Petter Johansson, for Atelier Food.

Built on a grid, this playful and creative presentation of still life is a part of a project that explores food in innovative and unconventional ways, linking it with sustainability, energy, culture, urban development and transportation.

The project was initiated by international top chefs, such as Stefan Eriksson, as well as leading artists, designers, scientists and business developers.

Atelier Food is a restaurant based in the heart of Stockholm, and Sweden’s new hub for exploring food. It all began with a simple hot plate and a simmering broth, where a number of creative people with different knowledge gathered in a kitchen for cross-fertilization developing new ideas, new recipes and new ingredients – exploring food in a broader sense.
