Set in Mexico City, Mexico, this unique apartment design is a curious concoction of colors and textures, oozing with personality and inspiration, passed down from an elderly family member to the young, single graphic designer who now calls this house home.
Deconstructing this space of old carpets revealed beautifully polished concrete floors beneath, and the waffled ceiling already in place also created the perfect modern sky-scape for track lighting throughout.
A bland color scheme was replaced by a bold turquoise seating sectional in the dining room, with a butcher-block style sitting area, and deep purple kitchen cupboards were fitted amidst granite countertops.
The master bath offers a stump-like sink washbasin, and provides a floor to ceiling glassed in shower. Next to which is a bedroom with a healthy sized closet – both of which extend onto a lengthy patio area.
Rustic recycled wooden slats make up the flooring for the terrace, delivering a masculine air of tranquility to finish off this grandiose refurbished city space!
