Flat 49

What happens when you take a small bachelor pad located in the Ukraine and combine it with talented designers? Why, Flat 49 of course! This compact living space is now fueled by multiple shades of grey, and enough masculine energy throughout to grow a beard upon entering.

With the owner’s desires surrounding stylish design, convenience and brand name furnishings, his hopes were definitely met with this real-time outcome.

Case in point – whether you’re in the bedroom or living room, the glass brick partition that lines the wall creates a clydescope of color when the sun shines through, and these same geometric patterns are reflected in the living room sitting chair, as well as a shelf within the same space – both providing a statement piece worth noticing.

In contrast to this modern flair, the simple mid-century dining room table and chairs propped to the corner of the kitchen offers nostalgic design, and is complimented by salmon colored cabinetry – the only added color to the many shades in this home, which creates a delightful contrast for this 49 sq m space.

From the mesh-wire light strung perfectly over the kitchen table, to the bench seating against the adjacent window, as well as the slate ceiling and black spotlights, doing the math on Flat 49 is easy – it’s 100% cool!
