3D illustrator Yann Le Coroller discovered a real passion for UI design, a passion which encouraged him to create an unofficial Mac Tablet, the ultra portable MacTab. Yann says he finds UI design “extremely fulfilling because it demands a creative yet very structured thinking”.
The MacTab has an incredibly thin wireless keyboard used as a protection cover for transportation, while staying in place with a combination of magnets and notches. You can use the MacTab on your desk at a vertical position by using a hinge placed on the back of the computer.
Yann also designed a small set of speakers called Eyespeak. A USB, self powered stereo in one unit, designed to minimize the use of cables and be fun. In my opinion it looks great and can be used as speakers for iPod.
