What do you feel like doing? Sitting, sleeping, lounging or entertaining, the German-made Ludus Sofa can be arranged to do all that. Designed by Patricia Hopfer for the Mobilia Collection, the Ludus consists of only three cushion parts: a seat cushion, a back cushion and an optional corner back cushion – and a lacquered MDF back part that is also a library.
The system is modular and very easy to re-arrange, it can be a sofa, a bed, a large sleeping area or recliner. The back / shelf unit is a practical storage solution for books, magazines and decorative items you want to keep nearby. The Ludus sofa is an ideal solution if you have limited space or don’t have the budget to buy several pieces of furniture but still want the option of having guests sleep over.
The cushions are held in place by a hidden system of connectors and are easily arranged to suit a variety of combinations. With their soft surface the connectors also act as contact area/foot between the library and the floor to protect both from unwanted scratches

The MDF back parts (library) are available as a single module (85 cm) or as a continuous double or triple module (170 or 255 cm); you can choose the standard color white or any RAL color for your back parts; seat and back cushions are available in many qualities of fabric and colors; foam: Oeko-Tex Standard 100; fabric for covers: Environment Management Standard ISO 14001.
