Laurence Willmott, from insightoutsight, is a UK based designer who uses everyday life to inspire new projects. This project is called “It’s About Time” and it’s actually a clock that tells time using words rather than numbers, giving a true reflection of how people view time.

I never thought about it before but people do tend to round time up when describing ‘rough time’ - like, it’s nearly half twelve or nearly one, and so on…

Laurence is inspired by how we all adapt products to suit our needs and in some respects re-design the products ourselves. This is used to create an object that people can relate to and in turn make them smile.
