This is not what I envision when you say “garden shed”, though that vision is forever changed. These pre-fab garden buildings will make you a gardener if you’re not already. Designed by Avanto Architects for Kekkila & Hasselfors Garden, four models are available to store your essential garden tools and serve as a greenhouse. Of course you can make use of them in any way you wish, including a dreamy lake side getaway.
Made of Finnish wood, safety glass, and a tin roof, they are easy to assemble on your ideal site. They are precisely designed so that you only have to concern yourself with your plants. Each shed has rain gutters and roof ventilation that is triggered to open via a temperature sensor. The Garden Shed Sprout is equal parts wood wrapped storage and glass walled greenhouse. With its elegant proportioned gable covering four sq.m., you’ll have room for two raised planting beds. Choose from wooden or glass shelves to line the side walls and maximize your growing area.
Garden Shed Thrill gives you an additional two sq.m. of enclosed storage space. Garden Shed Rest is my favorite. It has a pergola section between the storage area and the greenhouse. I’d be hard pressed to work in the yard instead of lounging here with a book. Garden Shed Harvest is for the serious grower and has space for eight raised beds and shelves that I’m already lining with lush fragrant flowers and delicious vegetables.
